2018 LOGAN SUMMER CAMP

The vision was to bring the BEST staff here into Utah’s own backyard (hence "East Meets West") & to do it at a premium cost.

The result has been what is traditionally one of the best lacrosse coaching staffs assembled anywhere in the country including professional players from both the MLL & NLL, collegiate coaches, collegiate players & professional coaches from Major League Lacrosse.

DAILY SCHEDULE

Morning Session, 9:00-12:00 pm

Individual/Positional Skills

Focus on fundamental skills at each position, with an emphasis on:

Specialty Instruction

Each East Meets West Camp staff member is a specialist in certain areas of the game. This is your opportunity to receive additional, in-depth and advanced instruction in the game. These clinics will include:

12:00-1:00 pm Lunch (please bring your own)

Afternoon Session, 1:00-3:00 pm

Team Strategies

The afternoon session will primaruily focus on field control and team play, culminating in scrimmages in which you will be able to put your newfound expertise to work. You will be assigned to a team coached by one of our world-class instructors.

Team concepts and instruction will include Six on Six Fundamentals where campers will be introduced to the formations most often utilized on offense, as well as how to operate within each of those, and how to see the field and create favorable matchups. Defense strategies that will be covered include slide packages, communication and more. Instruction in special and unsettled situations will cover fast and slow breaks, as well as odd-man situations (man-up and man-down). Finally, the basics of full field riding and clearing will be taught.
